イベントの説明
This is our first FREE guided tour of rural Japan. This is a trial -anything can happen. You need to download the free vTime software to you Oculus Go or other headset and set up your account in advance.
IMPORTANT STEPS:
1) Find Facebook user tokyoswede and make a friend request. If you are not on Facebook, connect to Hans in Japan on the vTime site after step... 2) Set up your account on vTime (). 3) Send a message to Hans either via FaceBook or vTime 4) Hans will now be able to find you on vTime and send a friend request so we can find each other on the day of the event.
We will meet in the Retreat, a virtual Japanese blossom garden.
You will meet and interact with a small group of three other guests and a veteran guide. We invite Oculus Go and other VR-headset users to a tour of several locations in Tajimi, Gifu Prefecture. You will be immersed in 360 still photographs together with the rest of the group, to give you the feeling of being here. Get a taste of people and places you would never have expected to meet in reality. Get inspired to visit Japan - why not in 2020, when Tokyo hosts the Summer Olympics? The small group of four people allows for a relaxed conversation and time for questions.

FAQs
How do I join the group on the day of the event?
See the instructions in the event description. When you log on to vTime Hans will invite you to join the group. You can also request to be invited. Take vTime for a spin to find out how this works. You will find who is online under the Connections menu. You can open the menu by pointing your controller upwards until you see a grey ball high up in your field of view. On the Oculus Go, us the thumb pad to make selections. But don't worry about this, Hans will find you and invite you to join as soon as you log on to vTime.
NOTE: if you don't show up for some reason a random person will take your seat.
What equipment do I need?
A stand-alone or tethered VR-headset and a good Internet connection. Find a quiet place so your sound does not spill into the experience.
What does the event cost?
It is free of charge and upcoming events will stay free. However, we are also planning non-sponsored events for a small fee, as well as custom tours where you can have us guide you through a place of your choice.
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

すべて表示
Contact Hans on Facebook (tokyoswede) or vTime (Hans in Japan), or via mail (hans@)
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, but you will be asked to identify yourself as other people may try to join.
What if I don't own a VR-headset?
The tours are primarily for VR-headset owners. We want the experience to be immersive for everyone and you need a decent microphone to make yourself understood. The Oculus Go, for example, provides both good image and sound at an affordable price. Several VR platforms support vTime.
What VR platforms are supported?
Find a list of supported platforms at the bottom of the vTime home page (vtime.net). The Vive also works well if you use the free Oculus emulator software Revive (). We do not recommend Google Cardboard or the AR version of vTime. The Oculus Go is the minimum requirement for a good experience for you and the rest of the group.
